CLOSE CALL FOR GIANT KNIGHT
March 29, 2012 at 5:00 pm
The Macadamia Castle’s giant knight had a close call this afternoon after a B-Double crashed metres away from it on the Pacific Highway.
Just before three, the truck and a car collided – sending the B-Double into a powerpole and bringing down live wires.
The driver of the car, a man in his 60s was taken to Lismore Hospital with leg injuries.
Fire and Hazmat crews worked to clear the area and a 400 litre Diesel fuel leak.
