LOCAL MAN DIES IN KYOGLE CRASH

A 73-year-old man has died after his motorbike collided head on with a semi-trailer on Wiangaree Back Road near Kyogle late yesterday.

Witnesses say the man crossed onto the wrong side of the road while turning a dangerous corner before hitting the truck.

He suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

The truck driver was not injured.
