A 10-year-old boy has died and six others have been injured in a two car crash in the New South Wales north west.
At about 4pm yesterday, a van travelling north along the New England Highway 13 kilometres out of Tamworth, veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with another vehicle.
Four people, including two children are in a serious condition, and have been taken to hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
