KNIGHTS BEAT SHARKS IN MUSWELLBROOK
February 19, 2012 at 6:28 pm
The Knights admit their first half was better than their second as they beat the Sharks by four in Muswellbrook.
Darius Boyd set up Aku Uate for the opening try, before Jarrod Mullen worked his way down the left, combining with James McManus who grabbed his second in two games.
Kade Snowden made a triumphant return to the Hunter, scoring against his former club.
The Sharks hit back after the break, as Newcastle allowed them back into the game.
“Second half was a bit everywhere but we just need to learn how to hold the ball, especially in this weather.”
The coach also frustrated by the errors.
“It was a trial match and that’s what you expect and we’re better than last week and that’s what I was looking for.”
