WIND FARM FOR NEW ENGLAND?
May 31, 2011 at 6:42 pm
A community-run wind farm could soon be part of the New England landscape.
Sustainability group, Starfish Enterprises, is gauging interest in a project that could include an eight turbine wind farm, capable of producing electricity for 25,000 people.
A community group would be the owner of the wind farm operation, with more than 100 landholders already interested in hosting the turbines.
A poll has now been launched to gauge the communities thoughts.
