SECOND ARREST IN COLD CASE

Homicide Squad detectives today arrested a second person following investigations into death of a woman at Raymond Terrace in 2002.
Just before 8am today, Homicide Squad detectives, with assistance from Raymond Terrace police, went to a house at Ballina where they arrested a 45-year-old woman.
She was taken to Ballina Police Station where charges are expected to be laid.
Today’s arrest follows investigations by police into the death of then 50-year-old Margaret Ann Gall, who was found dead by her partner inside her home at Raymond Terrace on 25 March, 2002.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested by police on 3 March, 2011, in Newcastle. She was charged with murder.
