The sky over Rutherford is buzzing with more planes than usual this week, for the Australian light aircraft championships.
45 top guns from across the country and New Zealand are putting their skills to the test with formation flying, aerobatics and spot landings.
The Royal Newcastle Aero Club is hosting the event.
Entry is free to watch the championships on Friday and Saturday.
