HUNT CONTINUES FOR ARMED ROBBER

Police in Coffs Harbour are appealing for information from the public, in relation to an armed robbery in Harbour Drive yesterday afternoon.

Police say a man armed with a sawn-off rifle entered the Oxley Insurance Brokers office at around 4.30 and demanded money from staff.

The man fled with a small amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident and police are now seeking a Caucasian man, around 180 centimetres tall, of thin build with short light-coloured hair.

He was last seen wearing denim jeans, a black hooded jumper and light-coloured running shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Coffs Habour police.
