FIRE RIPS THROUGH CESSNOCK HOUSE
January 7, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Fire gutted a large section of a Cessnock house in the early hours of this morning.
At 10 past 4, fire crews were called to the Campbell Street home, where a bedroom and hallway were well alight.
25 firefighters battled the blaze, but unfortunately much of the house was severely damaged.
The owners were away on holidays in Forster, but rushed back this morning only to be met by the destruction.
Police and the Fire Investigation Unit are determining the cause of the blaze.
