STUDENTS GAIN PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
November 17, 2010 at 3:02 pm
University architecture students from across Australia have spent the day at a Hunter steel fabricator’s, as part of a project to gain practical experience.
The students are halfway through designing and building three eco-tourism cabins at Pokolbin.
Today they learnt how the steel frames, which they’ll later install, are produced.
Next we’ll actually put those frames together ourselves and put them on site and thought it would be advantageous for us to come out and see how it’s done start to finish.”
