October 25, 2010 at 4:06 pm
Coffs Harbour’s mayor has been elected president of the Local Government Association of New South Wales.
Councillor Keith Rhoades says he’s honoured to have been chosen for the role and is looking forward to representing councils across the state.
He’s promising to work hard to secure more funding from state and federal governments for local services and infrastructure.
Councillor Rhoades, who has served on the council for nine years, replaced Genia McCaffery who led the LGA for the past six years..
