MEN AND WOMEN OF STEEL REUNITE
September 25, 2010 at 5:22 pm
Newcastle’s former men and women of steel have come together,
for the 11th annual BHP reunion.
After more than a decade apart, the feeling of comradery is still very much alive, with dozens of former steel workers catching up for a beer and a good laugh.
The steel-making giant operated for 84 years and at its peak employed around 12,000 workers.
