A week after qualifying for the National Iron Woman series, Amy Nurthen has been named to represent New South Wales.
The Terrigal lifesaver was in superb form at the Inter-branch championships in Forster at the weekend, where she defeated former Australian champion Naomi Flood to take out the Open Iron Woman.
Fellow Coasties Lauren Hall, Ellyssia Gasparotto and Jake O’Brien have also been selected for The Blues, and will compete at the Interstate Titles at Collaroy next month.
