DUST STORM DESCENDS ON STATE
September 23, 2009 at 9:15 am
Like most of the state this morning, the mid north coast has been shrouded in a blanket of dust – unlike anything it’s seen in years.
The sun looked more like a moon this morning as the thick cloud of dust rolled in from the far west of the state.
Flights were affected in and out of Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Taree and visibility in town centres was reduced to a few hundred metres.
We’ll have more on NBN News tonight at six.

I have been a viewer of N.B.N. for all of your 50 years and have watched it go from agreat tv channel to a clone of city centric channel 9. From the egotistical carl on the today show, where everything is regurgutated and repeted every hour,to theBlock then the Voice great talent ,,,,,,,But does it have to be on everything and everywhere..Is its ratings that bad that you have to brainwash everyone into watching it….The final insult came tonight when you cut the NEWS back to a half hour with very little local content, then you have Tracy GRIMshore come on and bag another channels show. You should first clean up your own backyard…R.I.P. N.B.N. tom leehy Scone
