SMOKE FREE MAITLAND

Maitland Council has become the latest to adopt outdoor smoking bans, and curiously, the push was led by a long-time smoker.

Port Stephens, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie all have similar moves in place, and there are calls for other Hunter councils to follow suit.
