The strength of rugby union on the Central Coast appears to be in good stead, following two successful campaigns.
The region’s representative side easily beat Gordon 43 to 26 in a warm-up match for the New South Wales country championships, while the Central Coast Academy of Sport rugby union team claimed the annual Challenge Shield with a 17 points to 7 victory over the Hunter.
