FLOOD COSTS RISE

The flood damage bill in Tamworth is expected to reach $20-million.
Council has established an emergency committee to help with the recovery phase, which involves finding crisis accommodation for affected residents.
The team will also co-ordinate the repair of roads, bridges and infrastructure.
