KNIGHTS TEAM TO PLAY STORM

The Newcastle Knights have handed the captaincy to Kurt Gidley a day after Danny Buderus announced injury has ended his playing days at the club.

In a symbolic gesture the club has ‘retired’ the number nine jumper for the remaining regular season matches given the forced nature of his exit.
