COUNCILS MAY BE FORCED TO AMALGAMATE

There are warnings the dire financial circumstances of local councils on the mid north coast could force some to amalgamate.
That’s the prediction of Coffs Harbour Mayor Keith Rhoades who says a report into the financial viability of local government paints a bleak future.
