KNIGHTS TEAM TO PLAY PARRAMATTA

Jarrod Mullen has been named to make his return for the Knights at five-eighth against Parramatta on Monday night. Confident of being passed fit, he’ll partner Scott Dureau in the halves. Akuila Uate retains his spot however Chris Bailey could miss a month of football given a finger infection has kept him in hospital. Steve Simpson still has to prove his fitness while unwanted prop Matt White has retained his starting spot and another strong performance may soon land him a new deal in NRL. Former Socceroo keeper Mark Bosnich has made a spectacular return to top-flight football in the A-League. The 36-year-old became an instant crowd favourite when he walked onto the pitch in front of 7000 Central Coast fans in Gosford. OZ POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Some of the most powerful people in the country are resting their weary bones, after competing in the Australian Powerlifting Championships in Newcastle. In the women’s division, weighing 76 kilograms, Anne Mort from Ashtonfield lifted 420 kilos across the three powerlifting disciplines. In the men’s, Western Australia’s Nathan Baxter lifted an incredible 900 kilos during the championships.
