PREMIER LEAGUE FINAL REMATCH ANNOUNCED

Yesterday’s Mid North Coast Premier League final between Wallis Lake and Macleay Valley will be re-played this week. It follows an off field incident at Kempsey which spilled onto the pitch, involving spectators, players and officials. Football Mid North Coast today told NBN News that they’re currently compiling evidence for the judiciary as to why the match was abandoned and that the body does not condone any unconscionable remarks or attitudes. The re-match will be held in Taree on Tuesday night.

WALLIS LAKE BATTLE MACLEAY FOR SHOT AT GRAND FINAL

To the Mid North Coast premier league, and Wallis Lake will play Macleay Valley tomorrow, with the winner securing the last spot in the grand final. The reigning premiers will need to beat their northern rivals to have a second shot at defending their premiership. Port United await Saturday’s winner for the decider. The elimination final kicks off at Dangar Street, Kempsey at 2:45pm.
