FORSTER TENNIS CLUB LIGHT OUTAGE

Last week’s wild weather has thrown a tough serve to Forster Tennis Club over the past few days Only four of 14 courts remain open, due to storm damage. Two lighting poles collapsed, leaving debris strewn across various courts. The area has since been declared unsafe to use and has greatly affected business, management even opening a “Go Fund Me” account to help with the clean-up. (AUDIO IN PARTS)

ANOTHER WRAP OF THE TOUCH FOOTY STATE CUP

Doyalson has claimed the Men’s Open trophy at this year’s touch football State Cup in Port Macquarie, while the Canterbury Bulldogs dominated the women’s event. The East Sydney Roosters narrowly defeated Murwillumbah to claim the mixed open’s title. And at a local level, Port Macquarie’s campaign was strong, with three sides making it through to the semi-finals.
