MP LIESL TESCH SAILS INTO HALL OF FAME

Olympic gold medallist Liesl Tesch will be inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame this week at a ceremony in Sydney. The Gosford MP will be joined by sailing team mate Daniel Fitzgibbon. The pair created history when they became the first ever crew to win back-to-back Paralympic Gold medals in sailing in the SKUD 18 class.

HIARIEJ SAYS MARINERS ON TRACK FOR A WIN

Mariners midfielder Tom Hiariej says his team are itching to notch up their first A-League win of the season when they take on the last-placed Brisbane Roar this weekend. Despite being a battle of the cellar-dwellers on Sunday, the Dutchman says fans should expect goals as they chase three-points.
