ONE DEAD, AND ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN KULNURA CRASH

A man has died, and a woman seriously injured, following a collision at Kulnura today. Shortly after midday, a Toyota Camry and a truck collided at the intersection of Georges Downs Drive and Springs Road. The elderly male driver of the car died at the scene, while the female passenger was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. The female driver of the horse float was not injured and taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing. The horses suffered scratches and minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers. (Note: Vision Only/No Audio)

COUNCIL MEETINGS: YOU HAVE THREE MINUTES

Members of the public will no longer be able to address full meetings of Central Coast Council – instead a public forum will be held at 6pm – before the meeting commences at 6:30pm. Meanwhile, the wheels are finally in motion for the proposed Cultural Precinct in Gosford. Council overnight moved to prepare a development application for the art hub, which will include pedestrian linkages and undercover parking.

AMERICAN BODY MODIFIER FRONTS GOSFORD COURT FOR THE FIRST TIME

An American man, charged over the alleged genital mutilation of a woman, has faced court in Gosford for the first time today. Howard Rollins is accused of aiding and abetting the mutilation of the 33-year-old at a Tattoo Parlour in Newcastle West in 2016. In a brief mention, the court heard the prosecution is still finalising their case, with the 40-year-old’s matter adjourned until November. (VISION ONLY)
