A 17-year-old male is facing a string of charges, accused of stealing a number of cars on the Central Coast. Police say they’ve been investigating the teenager since 2015. It’s claimed this Nissan Navara dumped on Wamberal Beach in November last year is just one of the four vehicles allegedly stolen. It took emergency services hours to remove the vehicle from the popular walking spot – the damage to the ute so extensive the teen is also facing property damage charges. He’s been granted conditional bail and will face Woy Woy Children’s Court next month. (VISION ONLY)

A new venture is opening doors for young Aboriginal people wanting to start a career in hospitality. A food van, at the Gosford Hospital redevelopment site, is helping provide training and employment opportunities locally. And it’s just the beginning. “our vision is to open a canteen franchise and then in that space we are looking at community so we can set them up all over the state and even nationally.” The van is the latest initiative to be introduced on the Central Coast to assist young indigenous people gain employment.   Audio in parts
