KURT FEARNLEY’S WHITE KNUCKLE RIDE TO HOBART

After a neck and neck finish to the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Investec Loyal pipped Wild Oats X1 to cross the line first on Wednesday evening. Hunter Wheelchair racer Kurt Fearnley was aboard the winning boat and phoned his wife Sheridan in Newcastle just minutes after crossing the line. Kurt says he suffered several bouts of sea sickness during the rough run down the New South Wales Coast. While tired and bruised, he says its been an amazing experience, and was looking forward to celebrating with his crew mates, including NINE personality Karl Stefanovic.
