SAND HIGHWAY AS DRIVERS LOOK TO AVOID SALT ASH BUSHFIRE

When life throws a roadblock at you, get resourceful.

Scores of drivers weren’t letting the fact that Nelson Bay Road was blocked, from getting to their destination.

Those with four-wheel drives took a desert highway detour onto Stockton Beach to get around the Salt Ash bushfire.
