MAN KILLED IN HUNTER VALLEY MINING ACCIDENT

A man has been killed in an industrial accident at a Hunter Valley mine.

The contractor was conducting tyre maintenance at around 8 o’clock last night at the Bengalla mine near Muswellbrook when the incident occurred.

It’s believed he was from Scone.

An investigation is underway, with all mining operations suspended.
