THE MAN BEHIND THE ‘BOAT TOWING’ MOBILITY SCOOTER

The image of a Belmont man using a mobility scooter to tow his boat went viral since it first appeared online on Friday, drawing attention from around the world.

Despite the obvious danger to himself and other road users, he says the brazen attempt to reach the water was nothing more than a solution to a short-term problem.

    If, as he said his car llicence was cancelled then how come he still had a boat licence?
    If it was in Qld then aren’t ALL licences cancelled?
