BOAT BURSTS INTO FLAMES ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Two men have had a lucky escape, after their boat burst into flames on the Central Coast.

Around 6pm last night, emergency services were called to the scene near Lions Park at Woy Woy, following reports a vessel was well alight.

Fire crews were assisted by Central Coast Ferries to get closer to the 6-metre craft, which is expected to be salvaged later today.

It’s understood the boat was around 50-metres offshore.
