PLIGHT OF PACIFIC HIGHWAY UPGRADE SUB-CONTRACTORS CONTINUES

The plight of sub-contractors on the Pacific Highway upgrade has once again been raised in state parliament.

Workers on the Woolgoolga to Ballina section of the upgrade claim they are have been out of work and out of pocket for more than six months.

Today, the unions called on the government to enforce industrial laws…

Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis reiterating the need to follow the legal process.

“Whoever is at fault needs to pay and at this stage we don’t know who’s at fault. We don’t know whether it’s the head contractors, we don’t know whether it’s Ostwald brothers, we don’t know whether it’s Pacific Complete, or the RMS to be honest.”
