MURRURUNDI MOVES TO LEVEL FIVE WATER RESTRICTIONS

Residents in Murrurundi will need to be more water wise as restrictions tighten.

As of midnight tonight the town will move to level five restrictions.

That means no watering of lawns, and gardens can only be watered by bucket between one and three o’clock on Sunday afternoons.

It comes as only 155-millimetres of rain has fallen this year.

The restrictions aiming to cut water usage by 70-percent.
