ACCUSED ARSONIST FRONTS COURT

A Lake Macquarie man remains in custody, after being charged over this incident at Tingara Heights yesterday.

20-year-old Caleb O’Neill is accused of refusing to come down from the roof of a burning car – and even spraying police officers with paint.

He’s facing charges of assaulting police, resisting arrest, lighting a fire and malicious damage.

O’Neill is due back in court later this month.
