KITE SURFER FOUND SAFE AT HOME AFTER SEARCH

Reports of a missing kite surfer at Blue Bay last night prompted a quick response from emergency services.

After a member of the public called in around 6pm, a rescue helicopter, water police and volunteers from Surf Lifesaving Central Coast embarked on a search – even sending out flares.

It was later discovered only the kite had gone missing – its owner was thankfully, safe at home.
