CRASH CLAIMS THE LIFE OF 18-YEAR-OLD MAN NEAR BELLINGEN

An 18-year-old man has died, after the car he was driving crashed on the Waterfall Way near Bellingen.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before midnight on Sunday, after reports an overturned car was on fire.

The driver died at the scene.

Waterfall Way was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
