12 PEOPLE CHARGED IN MASS DRUG RAIDS

A dozen people have been charged with more than 200 offences in mass drug raids on the Central Coast.

Police executed seven search warrants at homes early yesterday morning in Watanobbi, Wyong, Tumbi Umbi and Long Jetty.

It’s alleged drugs, knives, knuckledusters and mobile phones were seized.

Eight men and four women were arrested.

Eight were refused bail and fronted court today, while the others will appear in court next week.

Police established Strike Force Mahratta last November to investigate the supply of methylamphetamines in the region.
