AN UNEXPECTED UPSET AS TIGERS DOMINATE IN GROUP 3 RUGBY LEAGUE

In Group Three Rugby League, it was an unexpected upset for last year’s runners up Macleay Valley Mustangs, calling it quits at half time with the Wingham Tigers dominating, 64 points nil.

Nick Beacham among the fierce Tigers, barging over the try line to bag five four-pointers.

The front rower was a wrecking ball, forcing his way across the field, one player at a time, to see the scoreboard climb.

The Tigers took advantage of the Mustang’s lack of numbers, resulting in a round four clean sweep.
