HASTINGS VALLEY VIKINGS PLAYER FACING 12 WEEK BAN

Hastings Valley Vikings player David Tunstead is facing a 12-week ban over a controversial social media post.

The front-rower has lodged an appeal with The Australian Rugby Union in a bid to have the suspension reduced.

Tunstead could miss the next 12 games, but would be eligible to play in the semi-finals.
