BOWRAVILLE BRIDGE PLAN TO GO TO COUNCIL
Plans for a new bridge at Bowraville to replace the existing timber bridge are set to go the Council next month.
When it was revealed more than two months ago that there were plans close access to the town for up to three months, while a new bridge was built, there was an outcry by residents.
Local businesses, farmers and community members said any closure to the town would be an economic disaster for the small community.
Mayor Rhonda Hoban admitted to being hammered by complaints promising to consult with the community before any decision was made.
