MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SHOOTING AT COUPLE NEAR GRAFTON

A 28-year-old man has been charged, after a couple was allegedly shot at near Grafton yesterday.

Police have been told the man got into an argument with two 19-year-olds around 10am yesterday, telling them to leave the Whiteman Creek property.

As the pair packed their bags it’s alleged he fired a shot at them, before firing another shot as they drove away.

He was later arrested by police and charged with using an unauthorised firearm.

A search of the property allegedly uncovered five firearms, ammunition and a small quantity of cannabis.
