GAV’S WEATHER: COOL WEEKEND ON THE WAY

Heavy falls around Port Macquarie produced more than 50mm.

Small to moderate totals were recorded elsewhere along the coast – anywhere between 1 to 30mm for Anzac Day.

The trough over the New South Wales coast has been producing more showers which moved further south affecting the Hunter Central Coast region today.

That trough line will move a little further offshore tomorrow.

Easing conditions before the southerly freshens and colder air moves in making for a cloudy, cooler weekend for the coast with increased shower activity returning.

The inland areas of the North West will remain consistently dry but a bit cooler also.
