The state Veteran Affairs Minister, David Elliot, stopped in to Dangarsleigh today, with a $10,000 announcement for the local War Memorial just in time for ANZAC Day.
It’s part of a grants program that was launched at the start of the centenary of World War 1.
Local volunteers already have plans for the funding.
The cenotaph is expected to see upwards of 600 people for commemorations come Wednesday.
