PORT MACQUARIE’S PAEDIATRIC UNIT GIFTED WITH CARE PACKS

Port Macquarie Hospital’s Paediatric Unit was today gifted with more than 100 care packs put together by local council staff.

It’s part of an annual Employee Engagement program aimed at bringing council closer the community.

The care packs include accessible clothing for children during their hospital stay and dignity packs for parents.

“It will be wonderful for the children because there’s craft activities, there’s things that they can take their minds off being unwell and in hospital” – Nicole Leith, Paediatric Nurse.
