SEISMIC TESTING BEGINS OFF NEWCASTLE COAST

Seismic testing has begun off Newcastle’s coast today with the vessel P-M-G Pride conducting the explorations works.

The search for gas and oil is being conducted 30-kilometres off shore with testing expected to take three to four days.

It’s been widely protested, with some residents fearing possible environmental impacts.
