SOUTH WALLSEND TAKE DOWN ADAMSTOWN IN WPL

South Wallsend brought plenty of flair in its match against Adamstown in the WPL.

That effort may not have stuck but Olivia Kennedy’s long-range strike certainly did.

Their second wasn’t as pretty, but it was just as effective.

Although Buds keeper Olivia Sneddon denied the first chance, she couldn’t keep out Gabrielle Brodie’s follow up.

The full-time score 3-1.
