DARBY’S PIES GOES INTO VOLUNTARY ADMINISTRATION
The owner of an iconic Newcastle bakery says two warm winters are to blame for the company going into voluntary administration.
Darby’s Fresh and Bake employ 100 workers across its 27 Hunter and Central Coast stores
The administrator is working to keep the branches open while expressions of interest for a sale are sought.
It’s believed the business has a debt of more than $1-million.
