ASBESTOS SCARE AT WAMBERAL BEACH

There was an asbestos scare at Wamberal Beach this morning, with a small amount of the harmful material removed.

Increased visitor numbers and recent warm weather prompted Central Coast Council to act swiftly, ensuring the beach remains open.

Council will reactivate weekly inspections of the area and continue to work with the EPA to manage the historical issue.
