TWO MEN KILLED IN PORT STEPHENS CRASH

Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in a overnight crash that killed two men at Salamander Bay, at Port Stephens.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of George Road and Soldiers Point Road around 1am this morning, following reports a Mazda 3 had left the road and hit a tree.

A 32-year-old man was killed in the crash, along with a passenger.

The 30-year-old driver and another passenger are recovering in hospital.
