ANGLERS CHASE $20,000 TOP PRIZE AT INAUGURAL COD FOR CASH

$25,000 worth of cash prizes will be up for grabs at the inaugural Cod for Cash competition at Copeton Dam.

Anglers will take to the dam from tomorrow for a competition where size doesn’t matter.

They’ll be on the pursuit of tagged cod – one tag reading the top prize of $20,000.

A number of interstate fishermen and women are expected to attend, for what is hoped to become a yearly fixture.

It runs until April 22.
