MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING COFFS HARBOUR POLICE PURSUIT

A 32-year-old man will face court today, after an alleged police pursuit in Coffs Harbour overnight.

Around 11pm, officers sighted a white Holden Commodore allegedly travelling at speed.

Police initiated a pursuit when the vehicle failed to stop as directed.

The vehicle allegedly travelled through a number of streets before mounting a kerb and coming to a stop on Bonville Street.

The male driver then allegedly attempted to flee the scene.

After a struggle, police arrested the man and he was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

He was refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court.
