TWO MEN ON THE RUN FOLLOWING POLICE PURSUIT

Two men have been charged, while another two remain on the run, following a police pursuit on the New South Wales North Coast.

Around 1:30 on Friday afternoon, police observed four men enter a car with alleged stolen plates in Murwillumbah.

A short pursuit was initiated before the Mazda 6 crossed the Queensland border, where it was monitored through the Gold Coast hinterland by Queensland Police.

Two men were arrested near Springbrook and taken to Nerang Police Station.

Officers are still looking for the other two men.
